Jeremy and Emily | Newcastle Engagement Photographer
I always try and think of something profound to say but always seem to get lost in my words, so I am just going to keep this one simple. I have known Jeremy and Emily for a little while now and I can honestly say you probably wouldn’t meet two nicer people. They are what you would call gentle spirits. We went into Newcastle recently a snapped a few engagement photos, but half my luck the rain came down again and the sun was nowhere to be seen. As we walked around the light faded quickly,View full post »

Aaron and Laura
A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of photographing some beautiful people. They didn’t book and we didn’t have plans. I had actually got talking to Aaron and Laura at Aaron’s cousins wedding I was photographing a few months earlier. They told me they had been married for a couple of months, they had hired a photographer but their wedding photos were not what they had expected. As we got talking we decided to do it all over again, they took the opportunity to get back into theirView full post »

Gabriella+Jason | The calm before the storm
In nearly exactly one month from today Gabriella and Jason will say I do, in the majestic Hunter Valley. But before that happens we made sure to get some beautiful photos to commemorate their engagement. As I arrived at Jason’s family home on the outskirts of Maitland, the bright sunny day was slowly disappearing and the dark black clouds were starting to roll in. Even though our session was cut short by the rain, it wasn’t all bad, these images make every second worth it!View full post »

You know when you meet someone and you feel an instant connection. That is Kimmi and Tye, I feel as though we have been friends forever. They are just beautiful people, the kind you want to be around. It was a little overcast, the rain was starting to fall, but just as the sun was setting the sky opened up and the light was majestic. Our little walk around Newcastle was not in vain but an opportunity to create awesomeness….This is why I photograph people in love!View full post »

Looking for light | Tim Pascoe
Nothing makes me happier than taking photographs of people in love. In fact I just love taking photos all together, so when opportunities arise to build on my craft and improve my skills I take them. I recently had the opportunity to attended a small one day workshop with the one and only Tim Pascoe (An amazing wedding photographer). Workshops are awesome, not only because they give me a chance to network with other awesome wedding photographers but because they let me fine tune my skills toView full post »
