Weddings come around often but some leave a lasting impression. It may be the unique location, the vows made, or the beautiful people. Katherine and Andy’s wedding included all those things wrapped in a sweet little bundle that I will remember forever. When I first spoke to Katherine and Andy last year, I couldn’t help but feel so excited for them and knew their wedding would be something amazing, plus Andy’s infectious personally sweetened the deal just that little bit more.
This was a long time planning for both Katherine and Andy, joined by family friends from all over Australia and around the world. Unfortunately both Katherine’s mother and grandmother couldn’t be there to share in the joy, but I have no doubt that they were watching from above. Katherine’s mother was of Indian heritage, so staying true to the traditional Indian wedding was something Katherine felt she needed to do. On the other hand her big bearded, KFC eating, Wrestling loving, Groom couldn’t be more Australian. So they kindly met in the middle and chose to Wed in the magical rock cathedral that is the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. This wedding was amazing on all accounts and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to share in their special day.
